Ooh ooh, I got it: “An unstable childhood with broken parental figures, compounded exponentially by an absurd amount of emotional trauma from personal tragedy, possibly coupled with a mental chemical imbalance, and perpetuated by an aversion to seeking help!”
The last panel in this strip is kind of the Joe/Joyce relationship mission statement, isn’t it. I still like this one.
And nonconsensual! I mean, the mediocre part makes sense. I think this is Joyce’s first kiss (that she can remember, at least). She can’t be very good at it.
