I think this particular Alien base design is from a project I did in art school?  I did a Flash animation where Sal and Walky infiltrate the Aliens, titled “Coercion,” and I’m pretty sure the base looked like this one.  I am 99.9999% sure I don’t have this animation anymore.  I mean, the last time I remember it being stored anywhere was on a ZIP drive.  Oh well.

It was probably embarrassing.
