Yeah, this was essentially my job for 11 hours a day, in an endless loop.  You give a speech, send them off with the made-up space greeting word, rearrange the room a little while the spaceship simulator ride goes, and then welcome them to Clearly Another Planet Now!   Though it was more involved than just placing a chair.  There was a wall that moved, and you would turn on the blacklight.  Then you put it back and welcome the next group!  Every 3 or 4 minutes, depending on the ride duration you choose.
