I don’t know why, but I really feel like that truck should be driving left instead of driving right in that first panel? I mean, there are all sorts of rules about that kind of stuff, like left-to-right means progress and right-to-left means … not progress. But nothing on that seems to apply here, really.
Oh! I got it. Sal (and the truck) are facing left in panel three, against the movement of the truck in panel one. That’s probably it.
