Mr. Stone was based on my roommate at the time, Steve Stonebraker.  That overpass exit to Wilson Road off I-70 is near where I lived previously.  And it’s Ohio, so there are Waffle Houses everywhere.

I still really like the idea that SEMME doesn’t have to memory-flash any civilian witnesses like MIB does, they just get Mike to threaten them with a knife.
