I really like that this strip so closely follows Head Alien murdering Sal’s parents. He has a very wide repertoire.
See, look, Sal’s in this one! She could have told this part of the flashback fine! Well, maybe not panel 2.

So anyway, I guess Sal rescued Big Boss against his will! Phew. That wasn’t meant to sound sarcastic. Stop trying to sacrifice yourselves needlessly, everybody.
Man, everyone sure wants to sacrifice themselves all the time in these comics. I think I read too much Simon Furman.

You know, if SEMME agents carry around explosive devices that can blow up Monkey Master, maybe they should consider equipping their shuttlecraft launchers with them so they don’t gotta put themselves in self-sacrificial cliffhangers!
